WHAT’ S NEW IN 2026
MWAA benefits has created a new resource! Access information and updates throughout the year at www. mwaa. com / online-benefits. In addition:
• Benefits are updating to new IRS maximums in 2026. Contribute up to $ 3,400 to a Health Care FSA, $ 7,500 to a dependent care FSA, and $ 340 to commuter accounts.
• Also starting Jan. 1, 2026, if you have earned more than $ 145,000 in FICA wages in 2025 any catch-up contributions to your 457 Savings Plan must be Roth( after-tax) contributions.
• We have a new Flexible Spending Account( FSA) provider, Optum, to administer the Health Care, Dependent Care and Commuter FSAs.
• IRS Form 1095C is no longer required to be mailed to medical plan participants. If you need a Form 1095C for your tax return, see page 27 for steps on how to print the form in Workday.
As medical costs continue to rise, so do the premiums you and the Airports Authority pay for coverage. Overall, the Airports Authority will continue to pay 80 % of the cost for medical coverage; employee premiums represent 20 % of the cost. For 2026, that costsharing means modestly higher premiums for both United Healthcare plans, and slight increases in the premiums for the Kaiser plan.
